I'm Back

Long time no see.  I recently lost a lot of pictures and realized that if I had been keeping this blog up to date I wouldn't have lost all my pictures of Evan, from birth till about a week ago.  So I am going to write and post as much as I can remember until I ketch up and then I'll keep up.

California

Our first summer after my job and its starting great!  We went to California for the second week in June, on our way we stopped in St. George and had some fun on the rocks.

 

After St. George we finished our voyage to Rancho Cucamonga, to visit my brother and his amazing family!  The first two days of our visit we went to Disneyland where the girls had so much fun.  We got to meet Snow White, Jake, but we missed Tinker Bell.

 

We then got to go exploring the caves on Tom Sawyer's Island.

We also went to Car's Land.

 We went Monday and Tuesday, skipped a day and went back Thursday.  Even with the skipping of a day Brooke crashed for more than a two hour nap.  We moved her all over the place and it didn't even phase her.

It was a long week and ended with a marvelous day at the beach.

We had an incredible vacation.  On the way home we stopped in Beaver for some excellent sight seeing.

Even with the amazing adventure, we were all glad to get home!!!

Nikki and I had a great first day of school!

Nikki loves Kindergarden,

and I'm enjoying student teaching.

But poor Jenny isn't as thrilled.

We'll have to see how next week goes.

Omak

So I forgot to tell about the wonderful trip to Omak in mid August. We had so much fun seeing Grandma and Papa!!! And we got to see their new friends too.

Brooke got a little thirsty on the 14 hour drive up.

They loved the donkey, they kept asking they could go give Emily carrots. There were also some sheep and cows back there too.


They also couldn't get enough of the 4-wheelers...

especially Brooke, she waited for no one.
All-in-all we had a wonderful time!!!

Nikki's Birthday

Nikki's birthday was fun! Her cousins from out of town came to visit for the holiday (they really had a baptism to go to). So she got to spend some time with them in the pool, just the little girls, it was fun!!! At least for them.


There were seven of them, including Brooke, in the pool with me. I don't know that I'll do that again.

So school got a little crazy there. The pool has come along way ...




Some of the walls are up, there are a few windows, it is really coming along!!!

So Jim and his brothers are putting a pool in the back yard. I thought the pool itself was for the exercise, but I think all the work these guys are doing is more exercise than the pool itself is going to be.


Then they disided to be crazy and let Brooke drive.

They also decided to dig a hole for the tramp, and unfortunatly I got hurt in that mess. I am too out of shape!

But it got done with out me.

Last night we were pouring the footings for the walls and it started to rain so we covered it all with tarps it was kind of funny looking, like a big tent made of tarps. That so the rain didn't pock the cement, as you see it didn't turn out half bad.
